The Crystal River Archaeological State Park continues the popular monthly guided evening walking tours. This event is a torch lit tour of the site led by professional interpretive guides through the moonlit Crystal River Archaeological State Park complex. The Crystal River archaeological site, a National Historic Landmark, is a world-famous pre-Columbian ceremonial center on Florida’s west coast. Travel back in time to experience the park under the full moon and catch a glimpse of what life was like living on the Crystal River from 1000 BC to AD 1000. The event is free but donations are welcome. This fund-raising event is sponsored by the Friends of Crystal River State Parks. Recommended donations of $5.00 per person will be applied to sustaining future interpretive programming in the park. More Information: Park Ranger, 352-795-3817
