Pioneer Day is an annual event held at both Sams House/Pine Island Conservation Area and at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in north Merritt Island. Sam’s house doesn’t just have the oldest structure in Merritt Island, but contains thousands of years of human occupation! Don’t miss the 11 am Pioneer Parade at Sams House/Pine Island. There will be family-friendly activities, exhibitors and vendors. Free shuttle buses will be available between the sites which are a mile. Most of the parking is at St. Luke’s with a donation of $5.
