Description: Heritage Monitoring Scouts (HMS Florida) is a public engagement program focused on tracking changes to archaeological sites at risk, particularly those impacted by climate change in the form of erosion and sea level rise. The public is encouraged to apply to the program and will receive monthly updates on training and resources available for HMS Florida participants statewide. This program will allow citizen scientists to learn about the history of the Jupiter Lighthouse, and about how to record sites like an archaeologist!
