Nigel Rudolph, B.A.

Public Archaeologist

Nigel is the Public Archaeology Coordinator at the Central Regional Center of Florida Public Archaeology Network (FPAN) in Gainesville. He received his BA in cultural anthropology in 1998 from the University of West Florida and a BFA in fine arts ceramics from the University of Florida in 2002. After receiving his second bachelor’s degree, Nigel was a full-time cultural resource management archaeologist for over a decade before joining the Florida Public Archaeology Network team in 2013. In addition to his work with FPAN, Nigel is presently a graduate student in the Historic Preservation Program at the University of Florida, where he has worked focused on cemetery preservation. He is a husband, father, professional ceramic artist, and an avid tattoo collector.
