Join us for an “Archaeology on Tap” program at Frazier Creek Brewing and Distilling Co in Stuart!

This February, walk in and grab a drink to hear Dr. Della Scott-Ireton, Associate Director of the Florida Public Archaeology Network, present “Museums in the Sea: Florida’s Underwater Archaeological Preserves.”

Clues to Florida’s maritime history are scattered along the state’s coasts, bays, and rivers in the form of shipwrecks relating to waterborne exploration, commerce, and warfare. This talk features Florida’s Museums in the Sea, historic shipwrecks that have been interpreted for divers and snorkelers as a way to educate citizens and visitors about the real treasure of Florida’s shipwrecks – their history.  There will be plenty of time afterwards for questions and discussion!

“Archaeology on Tap” is free and open to the community, but is recommended for adults. Seating is unreserved.
