The Cape Coral Museum of History, Randell Research Center and Florida Public Archaeology Network – Southwest Region are teaming up to host a Heritage Disaster Preparedness Workshop. The workshop will be available in person and as an online event via zoom. Please register with how you will attend the workshop – in person or virtually. Objective:
To equip participants with knowledge and practical skills to protect cultural heritage sites and artifacts from disasters, focusing on preparedness, response, and recovery.
The day will consist of multiple speakers including Meteorologist Allyson Rae of NBC2, Jason Orellana of the Cape Coral Fire Department, and Natalie De La Torre Salas of Florida Public Archaeology Network – SW Region, along with an interactive section in the afternoon.
