Join William Locascio, Research Manager at the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum, along with the Florida Public Archaeology Network and the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation, for an amazing History Happy Hour in Downtown Fort Myers. You will learn about:

  • The intrusion into Seminole land and the broken promises of official and unofficial treaties.
  • The imprisonment of tribal members held here before being relocated far from their homeland.
  • The interactions with white settlers and the economic opportunities for trade, exchange, and tourism.
