Calling all trained HMS Florida Scouts! Join us for a tour and monitoring visit of historic Oaklawn Cemetery in Tampa!

This event is ONLY for fully trained HMS Florida Scouts, we’ll check registrations to make sure everyone has completed the training. We appreciate the time and effort of our Scouts and want to make this event just for you to learn about a neat local cemetery, get some practice monitoring, and meet other Scouts!

Haven’t started training yet? Click here and select “Apply to Become a Scout!” to start the process. Training takes about 5-6 hours once you create an account in the HMS Florida Scout Portal (we’ll send you the invite).

We’ll tour the cemetery and stop at some of the burials to learn about the incredible people buried here. As we go, we’ll discuss how to monitor the site, things to document, and answer questions and learn more about monitoring!

We recommend closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Bring water and snacks if you’d like.
